Rivay's Spring Summer 2018 collection was inspired by the studio style of history's great artists. Torn shirts, relaxed pants - paint splattered and time worn. Easy, effortless.
When we sat down to make a signature shirt that embodied the above, we knew it had to be special. So we partnered with our local wash facility in New Jersey, Blueprint Denim Wash House, and the Pablo Chambray Studio Shirt was born.
We started by sourcing a lightweight chambray cotton from our mill partner in Japan. Then we headed over to BPD and let the experts at it.
First, it was washed to achieve that worn-a-thousand-times feeling. The shirts are placed in a 30 minute bath which breaks down the fabric.

After wash, the Pablo makes it way to a truly special painting process. It's what makes the shirt so unique. Each is hand painted (not machine painted) by a single artisan. The process is time-consuming and arduous, but in the end we think you'll agree that the design looks natural & authentic.

The final product
It's a time consuming process but in the end the Pablo Chambray Studio Shirt is a faithful homage to the studio style of some of history's great artists. Made in limited numbers and available now.
