Bowen Cashmere Cable Sweater in Saddle Brown

The cashmere cable knit is about as established as a sweater gets. For the Bowen, we wanted to take that familiar shape and give it a character that felt distinctly our own.

We did that through color and yarn. Rather than the familiar brights and traditional shades, we developed a quieter palette with more depth: Sandstone, Stone Green, Saddle Brown and Black. Colors that feel almost pulled from the landscape rather than added to the sweater.

The Bowen is knit in Italy from exceptionally soft Italian cashmere yarn from renowned luxury mill Cariaggi. The substantial cable knit gives the sweater a rich, dimensional texture and brings even more depth to the colors. It’s an undeniably luxurious sweater, but the palette keeps it grounded and makes it feel distinctly Rivay.
