Originally designed as a work boot in the 1930s, the Indy Boot has since become an icon - equal parts utility and style. It earned its nickname after Harrison Ford wore it in each Indiana Jones film (legend has it that Harrison Ford told the costume department he already had a pair of boots that he wore as a carpenter).
This version, made in Brown Chromexcel leather from Horween, features a deep, oily finish that wears in beautifully. True to its heritage, the Indy is built with a moc-toe design, tempered steel shank, and Alden’s signature Goodyear welt construction. A neoprene cork outsole adds comfort, traction, and long-lasting durability.
Size Recommendation: Size down 1 full size
The Indy boot is built on Alden's famed Trubalance Last and runs about 1 full size larger than a standard US shoe size. This is Alden's widest and roomiest last.
