Vintage Mexican Sterling Burro Ring

A vintage Mexican sterling ring featuring a raised donkey-head framed by a downward horseshoe. In Mexican folk symbolism, the burro represents hard work and endurance, while the downward horseshoe is meant to let good luck “pour onto” the wearer. The slight asymmetry in the relief and the hand-finished edges suggest it was handmade or hand-cast, consistent with traditional mid-century Mexican silverwork. Finished with stepped side detailing and a naturally aged patina.
